A Feasible Volumetric Display with Webcam Based Air Touch System
Abstract
The immaterial volumetric screen is a display technology that enables high-quality projected images in mid-air on suspended transparent particles. Video game and augmented reality are also an extension of mid-air displays. Immaterial mid-air displays formed from light-scattering particles that are feasible for displaying information in mid-air and also allowing us to interact with the display mid-air. A light weight desktop fog screens and a cheap webcam based on hand tracking, the user can easily interact with the mid-air display. Any object of real world can touch the screen, because it’s permeable and tangible.
