A NOVEL AUTOMATIC TRAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING IOT AND ANDROID

S. Karthik, V KOVENDAN

Abstract

To address the environmental issues and rural traffic we propose a driverless automatic railway system with accident avoidance using Internet of Things. Rural station destinations, train timingsanddistances between stations areallpredefined. Messagesand warnings aregeneratedanddisplayed tothepassengers as push notifications to Android mobile device using ESP Notify Android App. If there is any obstacle is detected on the rail path the train stops automatically and the information is passed to nearest station over internet. Since this proposal focus on the electric train model the rural environment will not be affected by diesel pollution.
