Efficient Real Time Monitoring System for Patients with Chronic Diseases

Abstract

Providing a healthcare service for patients with reasonable cost and good quality becomes a necessary and important need nowadays. To achieve such a goal, the healthcare sector tries to adopt some tools and method from different fields such as, telecommunications, systems engineering and computer science and the healthcare new products that are manufactured every year. The most important part in healthcare industry is to make sure the patients receive good treatment and service that keep them in healthy condition for the long run, not just for the period when they got the treatment. Monitoring the patients' health is more important than discovering the problem and ending the right medication for them. The regular way to monitor the patient health is the regular visits he/she do at regular times to make sure that their health conditions improve or at least stable and especially the patients with chronic diseases (e.g. diabetes, cancer, alzheimer).
