A Comparative Analysis between the Different Functional Modules of E-Lib and Koha: A Practical Approach

Abstract


The present study on proprietary library automation software e-lib and open source library management software koha has been made both library management software‘s are suitable but there is a possibility for improving also in both software’s. From this study authors identified that many features from koha are excellent than the e-lib such as batch item modification, portability, N number of report generation , field length of titles, and Cataloguing, Z39.50, OPAC which provides options for user suggestions, comments, and tag cloud.
