Abstract

The Blood Bank Donor Management System is a web-based application designed to automate and manage the critical functions of blood donation centers. The system aims to simplify donor registration, track donor eligibility, manage blood inventory, and ensure a quick and efficient blood matching process during emergencies.

The system maintains a comprehensive database of donors, including personal information, blood type, medical history, and donation records. It provides real-time monitoring of blood stock levels categorized by blood type and expiry dates, reducing wastage and ensuring the availability of safe blood units. Automated alerts notify donors when they become eligible to donate again and inform administrators when blood stocks reach critical levels.

Security measures, such as encryption and role-based access control, are incorporated to protect sensitive data and ensure that only authorized users can access confidential information. The system also generates detailed analytical reports to assist administrators in decision-making, planning blood drives, and forecasting future inventory requirements.

Developed using modern technologies, the Blood Bank Donor Management System offers scalability, cross-platform accessibility, and seamless integration with hospital management systems. Its user-friendly interface ensures easy navigation for both administrators and donors, promoting regular engagement and efficient resource management.

In summary, the Blood Bank Donor Management System significantly improves the operational efficiency of blood banks, enhances the donor experience, and supports healthcare providers in delivering timely medical services. By bridging the gap between donors and recipients, it contributes directly to saving lives and strengthening healthcare infrastructure.
