Use of the Internet of Things (IOT) in Classrooms for Critical Factors directing non-diverse Teachers

Abstract


The goal of this study was to find out what influences non-diverse teachers' decisions to use the Internet of Things (IOT) in the classroom as a digital system to improve education. The technology acceptance model (TAM) was used to investigate non-diverse teachers' perceptions of the IOT's usefulness, ease of use, attitudes toward using it, and the impact of these attitudes on students' behavior. 47 non-diverse teachers were selected to participate through deliberate sampling and to analyze this collected data A quantitative method based on regression analysis was used. However, they did not intend to use the IOT because of their attitude toward it. However, the most important factor in non-diverse participants' intentions to use or continue using the IOT in the future was its perceived usefulness. As a result, a number of pedagogical implications for the development and design of teacher preparation programs are addressed. As a result of this study, suggestions for future work are made.
