COMPARISON OF MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF SPECIMEN MANUFACTURED BY CIRCULAR NOZZLE VS TRIANGULAR NOZZLE

Abstract


3D Printing is one of the most commonly used solid state Additive Manufacturing Process in the todays Industry 4.0. Fused Deposition Modelling is an extensively used method for printing the three dimensional objects. PLA being the most selective material which is cheap and having significant properties is widely used for 3D Printing. Generally Circular Nozzle is used for 3D Printing as it has proven to show better product quality results. However Research on different Nozzle Extrusion shapes is still in process. This Paper discusses the comparison between the Mechanical Properties of objects printed by the Circular and Triangular Nozzles. The Mechanical Properties include Tensile Strength, Impact Strength and also comparison of the finish quality of the product.
