Importance, Relevance and Applications of Smart Materials in Aircraft Control
Abstract
In this work, we have sought to outline the basics ofthe hydraulic circuit, whichhas hydraulic pumps,conventional hydro-mechanical flightcontrol and itsreservoirs, filters, pipes, valves and actuators. Thelimitations, before addressing how smart materials,
actuators are powered by the hydraulic pressure specifically shape memory alloys, can help overcome generated by the pumps in the hydraulic circuit.
