Multidirectional Remotised Air Cooler with Safety Features
Abstract
The design and development of a multidirectional air cooler equipped with remote control functionality and enhanced safety features. Traditional air coolers provide cooling in a fixed direction, limiting their ability to cover larger spaces effectively. To address this issue, the proposed system incorporates multidirectional airflow control, allowing the user to adjust the direction of the cool air to different parts of a room as needed. This is achieved through motorized horizontal and vertical oscillation mechanisms that can be controlled remotely via an intuitive user interface.
In addition to improved cooling flexibility, the air cooler integrates several key safety features, including automatic shutoff mechanisms to prevent overheating and water-level sensors to avoid dry running, which can damage the cooler. The design also features child-lock and tip-over protection to minimize the risk of accidents. These safety functions ensure that the air cooler operates reliably in both domestic and industrial environments.
