Role of Rapid Prototype in Product Development

Amit Kumar, Aman Srivastava, Akash Srivastava

Abstract

The term “Rapid Prototype” refers to one of the fastest developing manufacturing technologies that can help to construct physical models without Human interface and used to design a model for a body part or assembly using a three-dimensional computer aided design (CAD) data. It is low cost solution to launch a product in less time in market which makes it approvable in industry to be used in changing field of engineering. Additive printing is a segment of enormous prototyping which has a wide scope of utilizations in numerous fields.
