Density Based Traffic Control System using IR sensor & Microcontroller

Shiv Pratap Patel, Priyanshu Kumar

Abstract

This project is aimed for reducing the density of vehicles on the road. Traffic congestion is major Problem in most of the cities across the world and it is spreading like a nightmare for the citizens. Sometimes traffic is high in a lane and it requires more time than the other lanes. So, we are implementing our design to tackle the traffic congestion in one lane which is facing the problem of jam. In this process, we provide high priority to the high traffic lane as compared to the low traffic lanes. So, we are using a microcontroller (Arduino UNO R3) and Proximity IR Sensor (PIR). In the upcoming Section, We are going to explain the process of this Design and Working as well.
