Efficient Mini Projector Coupled Camera for Sixth Sense Technology
Abstract
Sixth Sense Technology turns the entire world into your computer by fusing digital data with the real world and its things. With just a few hand gestures, it can transform any surface into a touch screen for computers. It is a technology that makes computers and other devices adjust to human requirements rather than trying to alter human behavior. Additionally, it offers multi-touch and multi-user features. The Sixth Sense device consists of a small projector, a camera, and a cell phone that serves as a computer and your link to the Cloud, which stores all of your data online. The cost of the present prototype is approximately $350. Several applications have been implemented using the Sixth Sense prototype, demonstrating the system's utility, feasibility, and adaptability.
