Objectives, Symptoms, Mechanism of Action, Administration, Adverse Effects, Contraindications, Monitoring, Toxicity of Anti Hyper Lipidemic Drug Like Fluvastatin
Abstract
In adults, fluvastatin is meant for hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia to reduce the amount of total cholesterol in the blood. Particularly, this therapy decreases low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and triglycerides and enhances high-density lipoproteins. If combined along with a low-fat diet, a weight-loss program, and exercise, fluvastatin may decrease the risk of heart attack and stroke in people who have heart disease or are at risk of generating heart disease. This activity explains about the indications, dosing, contraindications, monitoring, and toxicity of fluvastatin and highlights the role of the interprofessional team in directing patient therapy to enhance outcomes for patients along with cardiovascular disease.
