Analog and Digital Signals

Abstract

Before going too much excess, we should talk a small about what a signal truly is an electronic signal specifically. The signals we’re concerning about are time-varying “quantities” that convey some kind of data. In electrical engineering the amount that’s time-varying is typically voltage (if not that, then sometimes current). Therefore once we talk about signals, simply think about them as a voltage that’s changing over time.
