Smart Functions on Road: An Overview

Pooja Faujdar, Harish Kumar Maheshwari

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to deals with problem of populated and expanding cities and suburbs, traffic, road accident, limited sources of electricity, flooding, overflow and degradation of water quality is mainly because of blockage of drainage system. Absence of natural surfaces has disrupted the water cycle. To help this problem here are introduce the “SMART ROAD SYSTEM”. The automated road system is defined as “a road where specially equipped cars, trucks and buses can travel together under the control of the computer. It is one part of intelligent transportation system (ITS), which uses the electronics, computer and technology development for safe and secure transportation. This research paper looks into the recent development and research trends in automation of vehicles, lateral control tasks. There is an bigger picture of the very diverse, detailed research in a particular area. Based on selected diversely research, the paper explain the different level of transportation with comfort and well- being, increment in safety with uses of natural resources .

Keywords: Solar panel, pressure sensors, control and Solar charge regulator, heating rods, smart parking, forward looking-sensors, automatic control
