Connecting Across Borders with the Global Positioning System (GPS)

Abstract


GPS systems can be found in nearly every industry because they are so adaptable. GPS is now used to map forests, assist farmers with crop harvesting, and direct airline pilots both on the ground and in the air. Military applications and crisis groups both depend on situating frameworks to find people needing help. We rarely consider the many applications for which GPS technology is utilized.
