SMART HELMET FOR ACCIDENT DETECTION AND ALERT SYSTEM

Diksha Swamy, Ambika K., Deepika ., Gaddamidi Chaitanya

Abstract

Road accidents claim the lives of a significant number of individuals every day worldwide, particularly when two-wheelers are involved. This can be prevented by providing emergency care to the victim, wearing helmets, and not drinking before driving. The Smart Helmet is used as an efficient solution to the issue. The Smart Helmet serves as a key in this situation. The sensor will detect alcohol consumption by the driver and lock the engine right away. Using GPS and GSM technologies, smart helmets offer assistance in the event of an accident. In the event of an accident, a message is sent to the ambulance or a family member with the location so that medical assistance can be given to the individual as quickly as possible. The project's goals include intelligence security, helmet wearing awareness, and human life safety prevention.
