A Design of Quadcopter Drone Integration for agricultural Precision and Transmission Line Inspection

Abstract


This paper presents the design and integration of a multifunctional quadcopter drone tailored for agricultural precision and transmission line inspection. The proposed system combines advanced flight control, GPS navigation, and modular sensor payloads to support real-time data acquisition and analysis. In agriculture, the drone enhances crop monitoring, soil analysis, and pest detection through multispectral imaging. For power infrastructure, it facilitates high-resolution visual inspection of transmission lines, identifying faults and ensuring preventive maintenance. The design emphasizes energy efficiency, stability in varying weather conditions, and autonomous operation to improve productivity and reduce human risk. Results demonstrate the drone's capability to streamline operations across both sectors with high accuracy and reliability.
