Leveraging Big Data for Enhancing Agricultural Productivity In the Context of Climate Change

Abstract


The intertwined climate change and global food security issues demand creative approaches to boost agricultural productivity. Big Data Analytics (BDA) has surfaced as a pivotal instrument for tackling these issues. This paper examines incorporating big data technologies within the agricultural sector to improve productivity, reduce climate-related risks, and maximize resource efficiency. Significant focus areas include precision agriculture, climate prediction, crop management, and decision support systems. Additionally, the paper addresses challenges such as data privacy concerns, infrastructure deficiencies, and the necessity for interdisciplinary cooperation.
