A Review on Analytical Study of Off-Shore Structure

Neeta Vaidkar, Prof.P. S. Bhalge, N. S. Wayal

Abstract

The installation of structures and facilities in a marine environment is known as offshore construction. This type of work is typically done for the transmission and production of electricity, oil, gas, and other resources. One of the most crucial aspects of offshore platform design is earthquake design in seismically active areas. The loading characteristics, the dynamic behaviour of the pile-soil interaction, and the dynamic characteristics of the piles structural system all have an impact on the dynamic response of the piles on offshore platforms. The structural design conditions of a coastal platform that's subordinated to surge- convinced forces and moments in the jacket may have a significant effect on the cost effective and effective design of coastal structures;it’s essential to estimate surge lading direc-tly.
