Abstract

This research describes experimental studies on the use of Banana fibre and Human Hair fibre to enhance the strength and applications of concrete. These fibers have been widely used to strengthen the concrete structure due to its high tensile and compressive properties. The Natural fibers are cheaper in cost, eco- friendly, biodegradable, Non- biodegradable. Besides the banana fiber and human hair fibers, concrete engineering features are improved, specially the compressive strength, the tensile strength and flexible power. The first time finding the studies on this project would we recognized the future research in the direction long time performance to increases the cost of effective type of the fiber for the use in construction application.  In this project work banana fiber and hair fiber is treated with 5% of NaoH solution for one hour. Then it is washed with distilled water. Fiber is dried in oven for one hours at 104ºC. Banana fiber are lengthened 4mm and length of hair fibers are 6mm to 50mm. then add 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% of concrete volume in M20 grade. The homogenous mixture of concrete was apprized for the compressive strength of concrete.
