EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF STRENGTH IMPROVEMENT BY PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF CEMENT BY ALCCOFINE IN CONCRETE

Abstract

The way building is now done, additional materials are added on as an high-tech concrete. One such addition that has been developed for use in concrete to improve its durability and compressive strength is alccofine.  Low-calcium silicates that are produced through controlled particle size distribution (PSD) processing make up the majority of Alccofine's composition. Because Alccofine has a lower specific gravity and a greater particle size dispersion than cement, it is a better choice for use as an essential cement bead. The goal of this effort is to investigate high performance using various mixes of Alccofine concrete. It is intended to investigate the mechanical characteristics of the M40 class of concrete, including its durability and split tensile and compressive strengths. The test was directed by adding Alccofine around 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% of concrete increments strength.
