EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS ON EFFECT OF COCONUT FIBRE ON FLEXURAL STRENGTH OF CONCRETE
Abstract
The frequent and unexpected failure of concrete structures, along with the earlier and more noticeable cracks in buildings, make this research essential. The partial addition approach was used in this investigation on coconut fiber. Research was done on the application of coconut fiber to boost the bearing capacity of concrete. In tropical regions, coconut fiber is a naturally occurring substance that is widely accessible. One concrete beam, 150 x 150 x 700 mm. In order to partially replace the cement, the coconut fiber was added in different weight percentages: 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5%. After 28 days, the generated samples were subjected to load testing. Research has shown that concrete reinforced with coconut fibers is often more resilient to loads and can withstand
