The Impact of COVID-19 on Construction Project in Nepal

Abstract


The world is in pandemic of corona virus and Nepal also can’t remain untouched from it. There is great impact in economy of country. This paper has been prepared to identify the impact of corona virus (Covid-19) on Construction projects in Nepal. A questionnaire survey has been carried out from a wide range of professional engineer, construction entrepreneur, and construction practitioners operating in Nepal. The findings from this research revealed that delays in projects was due to Covid-19. The main conclusion drawn is that the delays can be reduced by proper planning and monitoring at construction site.
