Abstract

Overloading is the primary cause of power system failures. Power loss could cause harm to the area. The load control system built on an Arduino Uno automatically manages overload on the generator by regulating electricity and cutting off supply whenever users use more energy than is supplied during a peak period. Arduino Uno does this by detecting overload and cutting off the supply at the same time for the duration of the generator overload. A local full-scale distribution automation system that can be operated from the secondary distribution substation to the customer end is one of the goals of our research study. Automation of power distribution is anticipated in several regions. In this study, we give a review of the literature on microgrid switching based on IOT for uninterruptible power supply. Future power outages caused by consumers who misuse energy can be prevented by implementing this as part of our academic project, which aims to provide steady electricity to dependable energy users. This technology offers dependable performance for the consumer.
