Real time Monitoring of Coma Patients using OpenCV
Abstract
We suggest a brand-new system that gathers information on several health indicators, such as body temperature, movement, and eye blinking. We have created a system that keeps track of the patient in a coma using the ML platform. The patient must be continuously monitored by the guardian since a person in a coma is unable to react or take deliberate actions in response to pain, light, or sound in the usual manner. As a result, neither the presence of accompanying persons nor clinical personnel is necessary to provide treatment for the patient. Instead, an SMS API module may be used to send SMS utilising a buzzer system to alert the doctor and carer, obviating the need for their physical presence. We are also using RASPBERRY Pi Camera 5 megapixel native resolution sensor- capable of 2592 x 1944 pixel static images Supports 1080p30, 720p60 and 640x480p60/90 video. Camera is supported in the latest version of Raspbian, Raspberry Pi's preferred operating system. For raspberry pi zero/zero W/Zero WH kindly use a different camera cable.
