Mr. Bimal Mohan, Mr.Edwin Thomas, Mr.Muhammed Ashik V A, Mr.Vinay M

Abstract

The main goal of the project is to assist blind and visually impaired individuals in safely navigating outdoor environments. It introduces a camera-based navigation system that overcomes the limitations of existing systems, such as high costs and reliance on external services. By employing deep learning algorithms, the technology can identify and detect obstacles in real time, providing immediate guidance through voice assistance. This adaptable and independent architecture allows the system to function effectively across different settings, enhancing the independence and safety of visually impaired individuals outdoors. Overall, the project represents a substantial advancement in inclusive and dependable navigation assistance for this user group.
