Abstract

The Covid-19 disease has been so destructive to mankind that millions around the world have perished all across the world since it first emerged. Everyone was confined in their homes as a result of the shutdown, and all essential organizations and activities have been shuttered in whole or in part. As a result, technologies have made everything possible: the office, friends, family, pleasure, and education. As a result of the transportation disruption, numerous industries, such as hospitality and tourism, were forced to close. The closure of hotels, restaurants, leisure activities, and lodges resulted in significant income losses. The hotel business, which is our country's largest source of income, has had a significant impact on the country's revenue and economy. The pre - and post-effects of the COVID-19 virus on the country's hotel business are discussed in this article. The articles that were reviewed focused on various facets of the hospitality sector, such as issues facing workers, job losses, revenue effect, COVID-19 extending patterns in the industry, demands, recovery prospects for the hospitality sector, health and safety, travel behavior, and customer preferences.
