Design and Control of Robotic Humanoid Arm

Abstract


The main objective of this article is to design and develop a Humanoid arm which displays a significant improvement in its functionality and accuracy from contemporaries while being cost effective.  An integration of software and hardware results in the robotic arm mimicking the actions of a human being. It enables the user to control the humanoid robotic arm remotely and the Actuators present within the arm carry out the movement of the individual fingers and the whole arm. The final product will be used in the medical field to assist doctors in performing operations as well as to protect the lives of workers who are employed in hazardous environments.
