An Experimental Investigation Using Standard and Non-Standard Sand to Determine the Strength Property of Cement-Sand Mix

Jagan Kante

Abstract

Here the review is finished for the trial examination to evaluate the appropriateness of non-standard sand for deciding the compressive strength of concrete sand blend. At present the compressive strength is gotten by utilizing the code I.S. 650-1991. The necessity felt to supplant this part by appropriate substitute sand (non-standard sand) and results consequently acquired made identical to that with the standard sand. Here, we attempted to find a co-connection between the compressive strength of concrete sand blend utilizing standard and non-standard sands. The sands tests were taken from three unique sources specifically Badarpur sand and beds of waterways Yamuna and Ghaggar.
