

Modified Simultaneous equation Spectrophotometric Method for Estimation of Azilsartan Medoxomil and Cilnidipine in Combined Dosage Form
Abstract
Modified Simultaneous equation spectrophotometric method is developed and validated for the simultaneous estimation of Azilsartan Medoxomil and Cilnidipine in Tablet dosage form. zilsartan Medoxomil and Cilnidipine were found to have assimilation maxima (λmax) at 248 nm and 353 nm, separately in methanol. Azilsartan Medoxomil had linear dynamic ranges of 4–24 g/ml, whereas Cilnidipine had linear dynamic ranges of 8–18 g/ml. The developed method was validated as per ICH guideline Q2R1 in terms of Parameters like linearity, precision (intra-day, inter-day and repeatability), accuracy, LOD and LOQ, robustness. The method was applied in the quality control of commercial tablets and proved to be suitable for rapid and reliable quality control.
