Analysis of a Batch arrival Bulk Service Queue with Two Choice of Service Multiple Vacations Restricted Admission and Closedown Time

Abstract


This paper analyzes an M[X]/(G1(a, b), G2(a, b))/1 queue with closedown, multiple vacation and restricted admissibility. The single server provides two types of services in which every batch of customer can choose either type 1 service or type 2 services. The system state probability generating function is derived under stationary case by supplementary variable method. The performance of system measures and cost analysis are also computed. Numerical simulations are provided to analyze the impact of system parameters.
