Abstract

The concept of IOT (Internet of Things) is used in this paper. Since security has always been a major concern in households and office environments and also various approaches have been tried but there are loopholes which could be broken providing unauthorised access. This work named Smart Locking System using IOT provides a reliable, effective and efficient solution. The system uses an Arduino UNO device and fingerprint sensor along with a password to detect the user. This system verifies fingerprint along with password providing a system which gives access to authorised users only. If authorization is successful then the door is unlocked using a servo motor.
