Design and Implementation of Pneumonia Detection using Deep Learning

Simran Banu, Pooja M, Tayab Mustaq Ahmed, Deepak H A

Abstract

Pneumonia is that the leading reason for death all round the world. On average, it kills 700,000 kids p.a. on the average and affects 7% of the world' population. This condition is diagnosed in the main exploitation X-rays. We've devised a completely unique Image processing based Deep Learning approach to discover respiratory illness using the construct of Transfer Learning and Image Augmentation. We tend to were ready to succeed a recall score of 97.44%and an accuracy of 96.00%. In this application the patient has to upload their chest Xray obtained by the Lab to the app where the system will check for any fault in the report and then if there is any fault in the system then system will notify that there is a trouble in the health in patient. And if there is no issue in the report then the system will show the healthy message. By using this system, the patient doesn’t need to spend more amount to consult a doctor if there are not having any problem related to pneumonia. And this can save a money of the patients.
