Abstract

Medic - The Medicine Availability Checker is a platform enhancing access to medications by providing up-to-date information on stock availability, pricing, and expiration dates at nearby pharmacies. Designed for patients and pharmacy owners, it includes a mobile app for users to search for medicines and a web portal for inventory management.

The platform utilizes location-based services and the Haversine formula to identify nearby pharmacies, along with Cosine Similarity to recommend alternative medicines based on chemical composition. A chatbot powered by the Gemini AI model assists users by answering medicine-related queries and providing relevant recommendations. Key features include low-stock alerts, automated updates, cross-platform compatibility, and a user-friendly interface for seamless interaction. By streamlining medicine searches and optimizing pharmacy operations, Medic improves healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
