Next-Gen AI Resume Analysers Transforming Freshers' Entry into the Workforce

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI)–based resume analyzers are transforming the recruitment landscape by offering automated, unbiased, and highly accurate screening mechanisms. Freshers entering the job market often struggle with resume structuring, skill representation, and keyword alignment, making manual shortlisting difficult and time-consuming for recruiters. AI-powered resume analyzers leverage technologies like Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and transformer-based semantic models to interpret, evaluate, and rank candidate resumes. This survey examines the working of AI resume analyzers, their core technologies, advantages, challenges, and research trends.
