

National Board of Accreditation (NBA) Criteria for Higher Education Institutions: Implications and Insights
Abstract
This research paper offers a thorough examination of the ten criteria established by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for evaluating and accrediting higher education institutions. Through a systematic review and analysis, the paper explores the significance, scope, and implications of each criterion, shedding light on their role in assessing institutional quality and promoting excellence in higher education. Key themes explored include curriculum design, teaching-learning processes, faculty quality, infrastructure, research and consultancy, student support services, governance, and institutional values. By synthesizing existing literature and empirical evidence, the paper aims to provide insights into enhancing institutional effectiveness and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in higher education institutions.
