Abstract

Exosuits are wearable devices that can assist and enhance physical capabilities of human beings. In this paper, a passive shoulder supporting exosuit is designed to reduce fatigue and discomfort experienced during prolonged periods of raised arm and shoulder posture. This device is specifically developed for workers in industries such as grape farming, vehicle underbelly manufacturing and ceiling installations where sustained overhead work can cause strain and pain. The exoskeleton provides additional support to the shoulder joints, reducing muscle fatigue and enhancing worker productivity. Additionally, the exosuit aims to be lightweight, affordable, ergonomic, and easy to use, ensuring improved performance in demanding industrial environments.
