Abstract


The Smart IT Asset Monitoring and Alert System is designed to efficiently manage, monitor, and track IT assets within an organization while ensuring timely alerts for maintenance, security, and resource optimization. This system automates asset tracking through a centralized database, enabling administrators to record asset details such as hardware specifications, software licenses, purchase dates, and warranty periods. It continuously monitors the status and usage of each asset, generating instant alerts or notifications for events like license expiry, maintenance schedules, or unauthorized access. The system enhances asset visibility, reduces manual effort, and prevents resource loss through intelligent alert mechanisms. Implemented using modern web technologies and database integration, this project aims to provide a reliable, scalable, and user-friendly platform to streamline IT asset lifecycle management and ensure proactive decision-making in IT infrastructure management.
