STUDENT CAREER PREDICTION USING RANDOM FOREST

Amina Rahim, Hanna Thaj, Harjeesh Roshan, Leo Laurel, Revathy N

Abstract

The method of predicting or estimating the probable career pathways, fields, and universities that may be suitable for a specific student is known as student career prediction, and it is based on the aptitude, interests, strengths, and other pertinent variables of the student. It entails evaluating a student's abilities and qualities using a variety of tools, methodologies, and exams before using the results to offer potential career paths that fit with their interests and strong points. Using the Random Forest algorithm, one can create a predictive model that can advise students on possible career paths based on a variety of input features, such as results from aptitude tests, interest questionnaires, and other pertinent data. The Random Forest algorithm is an ensemble learning method that combines multiple decision tree models to make predictions
