Employee Management System (Permanent Employee)
Abstract
Our real-time application, "Employee Leave Management System for Permanent Employees," represents a substantial extension of our previous initiative focused on optimizing leave management processes within the organization. Building upon the foundation laid by the initial project, which addressed general leave management for all employees, the primary objective now is to refine and tailor the leave management system to meet the unique needs and characteristics of permanent employees. This application aims to streamline the application, approval, and tracking processes, ensuring greater efficiency, transparency, and adherence to organizational policies and insurance provisions. Our previous project focused on leave management for all employees, primarily addressing the number of leaves per employee and the sanctioning of leave requests, with salary deductions for leaves taken beyond the assigned quota. However, the
initial system lacked several critical features necessary for a more comprehensive management of permanent employees' leave. Observing these gaps, we planned to add new features tailored specifically for permanent employees. The extension includes insurance provisions, different types of leaves, salary adjustments based on leaves taken, and the annual provident fund contributions. Key features of this extended project include personalized leave policies, which involve designing and implementing leave policies that align with the specific benefits and considerations applicable to permanent employees. This includes taking into account tenure, accrued benefits, and other relevant factors to ensure that the leave policies are equitable and beneficial. Additionally, we are implementing an automated notification system to keep both employees and managers informed about leave requests, approvals, and any relevant policy changes. This system aims to promote transparency and improve communication within the organization.
