

NEUTRACEUTICALS USED IN TREATMENT OF CANCER
Abstract
It is discovered that 30-40% of cancers can be prohibited with daily routine and diet alone. Obesity, healthy foods such as high sugar and starchy foods that support blood sugar metabolism (and therefore diabetes), Fibres foods, red meat, and the difference in omega 3 and omega 6 fats cause cancer. Eating flaxseed, especially its lignin, along with plenty of fruits and vegetables can reduce the risk of breast cancer. Alliums and cruciferous vegetables are particularly beneficial, with broccoli sprouts being the most concentrated sulforaphane base. Protective elements in the anti-inflammatory diet include antioxidants such as selenium, folic acid, vitamin B12, vitamin D, chlorophyll, and carotenoids Recently, several natural bioactive compounds have been found to have anti-inflammatory properties and can kill mutated or cancerous cells without being toxic to the body. These results appear when natural products are combined with traditional treatments, suggesting that nutritional products may be beneficial in cancer treatment This review is to discuss the latest information on four natural bioactive extracts, many of which have a unique polyphenol profile. In particular, several functions that contribute to nutrition in cancer therapy have been reported: inhibition of cell proliferation; antioxidant activity; anti-inflammatory effect. Nutraceuticals are derived from many natural sources such as medicinal plants, marine life, vegetables and fruits. Nutraceuticals have been shown to reduce the risk of cancer and slow its growth.
