Abstract

The main objective of our project is to detection the exact location of the fault in the underground cable from the base station. Now a days in the urban cities overhead cables are not used only underground cables are used so when there is a fault in the underground cable we need to dig the whole cable line but by using our system we can find the exact location of the fault cable and dig that part and repair it. This system uses an Arduino kit, Relay switch, GSM modem and a 12v power supply, buzzer which alarms on the occurrence of the fault in the cable and A 16*2 LCD display used to display the location of the fault.
