Challenges, Solutions, and Tools for Mobile Application Testing

M. L. Karunarathne

Abstract

The enhancement of smartphones and the usage of mobile applications are increased rapidly in the industry. Most of the software is developing as a mobile application due to the advanced lifestyle of the people as they prefer to use easy methods to do the day-to-day work. Mobile applications are applied in almost all disciplines. Due to the excessive usage of mobile applications, their efficiency and performance is a critical factors. The performances and effectiveness of mobile applications is estimated by using appropriate testing techniques. Testing techniques involved in the evaluating process of mobile applications differ from the traditional software application testing techniques. This paper focused on the strategies, tools, challenges associated with mobile application testing. In addition to that, the paper will discuss probable solutions to them.
