Abstract

Software testing is a process of executing a program or application with the intent of finding the software bugs. It can also be stated as of the process validating and verifying that a software program or application or product. At a high level, software testing is needed in order to detect the bugs in the software and to test if the software meets the customer’s requirements. This helps the development team to fix the bugs and deliver a good quality product. It is used to find bugs in the application through various test cases. For automatic testing, selenium is used. Selenium is a portable framework for testing web applications. Selenium provides a playback tool for authoring functional tests without the need to learn a test scripting language. The tests can then run against most modern web browsers.
