Abstract

Generally we use steel as reinforcement material in construction to give good strengthening to building, but cost for reinforcement is more. In our project we are trying to fine solution for it. In our project we are going to use of bamboo instead of steel as reinforcement. When in bamboo of is use on in of column, beam, roofs and staircase generally. Bamboo is a good reinforcement it have good tension compressive strength and durability generally almost steel is a commonly used in reinforcement material but we get solution on it we study on using bamboo material in replace to steel the most advantage of bamboo is ecofriendly and low cost. Then we are study to the engineering properties of bamboo and its availability we get the various test on bamboo check for suitability as reinforcement material carryout the various test.
