Abstract

The comprehensive study on the design and implementation of soft layout development strategies for residential land use. Soft layouts refer to the integration of sustainable and eco-friendly elements within residential planning to enhance the overall livability, ecological balance, and community well-being. The increasing demand for sustainable and harmonious urban living has incite significant interest in soft layout development for residential land use. Soft layouts emphasize a holistic approach to urban planning, integrating ecological, social, and aesthetic considerations to create more resilient and enjoyable living spaces. The various dimensions of soft layout development includes, green infrastructure, landscape design and environmental sustainability. A soft layout in this context refers to the systematic arrangement of plots, roads, utilities, EV charging stations, solar street lights with sensors and amenities to create a harmonious and livable environment. This project aim is to addresses the challenges and barriers associated with soft layout development, such as land use conflicts, regulatory hurdles, and financial considerations. It discusses innovative solutions and policy frameworks that have been successful in overcoming these challenges, fostering a more conducive environment for the widespread adoption of soft layouts.
