Abstract

Compared to normal concrete, Fiber Reinforcement concrete offers several advantages such as increasing crack resistance enhancing yield point improving flexural properties. Natural Fiber “Jute”, is being used between 0.55% and 0.75 % with aspect ratio 50 and 60 as added materials in general among the research work studied. This enabled to identify the optimum quality of Fibers to achieve the required characteristics, that would meet a specific need in the contraction field. Studies are made to find effectiveness off the Fiber in providing toughness tensile strength and to improve the risk off cracking which allow predicting the increased dynamic resistance. We would expect end obtain an optimal volume ratio and aspect ratio among the selected Fiber to give increased fresh and hardened properties off FRC as compared normal concrete.
