Comparative Analysis Of RCC Beams And BFRP Rebars Beam With Partial Replacement Of Cement By Fly-Ash
Abstract
This study presents a comparative analysis of Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) beams and Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer (BFRP) rebar beams with partial replacement of cement by fly ash. The research evaluates the structural performance, durability, and sustainability of both types of beams. Key parameters include load- bearing capacity, flexural strength, and crack resistance. Fly ash is utilized in 10% 20% 30% replacing cement to enhance sustainability and improve the environmental footprint. The findings indicate that BFRP rebars with fly- ash replacement demonstrate superior corrosion resistance and comparable structural performance to conventional RCC beams, making them a viable alternative for eco-friendly and durable construction.
