Mr. Mayank kathor, Mr. Amit moza

Abstract

This paper explores risk assessment in commercial interior fit-out projects within India's IT and IT-enabled services (ITES) sector. The primary aim of the study is to identify various risks associated with interior fit-out projects in office environments, understand how to manage these risks effectively to manage the cost and time. The research focuses on both overall and delivery risks specific to interior fit outs. Key strategies such as delay management, resource allocation, and technology selection are examined. Based on a review of existing literature, a questionnaire with 15 targeted questions was developed, and factors were prioritized using the Relative Importance Index. The findings aim to enhance risk management practices, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery in the competitive IT/ITES landscape.
